Sharp Airlines Pilot Cadetships

Advanced Diploma In Aviation
(Airline Transport Pilot) Cadetship - January 2009 Course

Sharp Airlines' Pilot Cadetship is unique.

No other pilot training scheme guarantees its students 750 hours aeronautical experience. No other pilot training program equips its trainees to move as confidently into the world of commercial aviation.

With a Sharp Airlines cadetship, you become part of the day-to-day activities of a busy, commercial airline company. You gain direct, hands-on experience. You will be asked to assume the full range of responsibilities expected of a pilot. This is not a simulation: this is real.

Sharp Airline is committed to ensuring that our trainees are the best. So in undertaking the Advanced Diploma of Aviation (Airline Transport Pilot) Cadetship course, as well as flight training, you will be equipped with skills ranging from Dangerous Goods flying to public relations. Once you have completed your time with Sharp Airlines, we will provide you with assistance in finding employment in the aviation industry. This is not a guarantee of a job. It is a guarantee of Australia's best pilot training, 750 hours commercial aeronautical experience, and assistance with employment.

The Sharp Airlines' Pilot cadetship is the final 12 months of a 2 year program of advanced pilot training. The course is designed to take the student with no experience right through to a Commercial Pilots Licence and also to equip them with an Instrument Rating.

Students are required to enrol in the above qualification and courses to be accepted into Sharp Airlines' cadetship scheme. Those who have completed some of the above courses or equivalent levels of training may be considered for RPL/RCC. Generally training is carried out during normal classroom hours 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday however some night and weekend training will be required.

Commercial Pilot Cadetship - 1 Year

Pilots will gain experience and be trained in all aspects of Commercial operations. Sharp Airlines activities involve a number of operations including Airline Operations, Charter Flights, Aerial Spotting/Survey and Aircraft maintenance. They will also be expected to carry out general work associated with the day to day running of the organisation. Supervised by senior pilots our cadetship provides pilots with an ideal introduction to Commercial Operations.

Having the opportunity to train and develop skills with a Commercial Aviation company has given our past students a major advantage over their competition. Combined with the 235 hours of training we will provide an additional 500 hours (minimum) to bring the total aeronautical experience of our trainees up to approximately 750 hours by the end of the course. Our company will cover the trainee’s expenses when they are required to work away from their main operating base. Cadets will receive a full salary including superannuation, further details are available on application.
