Freight Charter

Dedicated Freight

Sharp Airlines carries all kinds of freight, from the smallest precision drill to the largest machinery parts (up to 1000 kg). Over the years we have been tasked with a variety of jobs to a variety of locations — from within our local neighbourhood to as far away as the tip of Cape York (Queensland). Whether it's big or small, your freight is important to us.

Some of our tasks so far have included:

Live Crayfish/Abalone for domestic and international markets (see below);
Machinery parts or equipment for the Agricultural, Mining, Shipping and Manufacturing industries;
Legal or Commercial Documents; and
Audio visual products including videos or DVDs.

Live Fish/Shellfish Transport

Our aircraft can be equipped to carry live fish for the domestic or international market. We can carry most types of plastic fish bins and polystyrene containers up to a gross weight of 1000 kg (subject to weather and operational requirements). The larger bin size is preferred as it allows for more net fish weight to be carried. We use a dedicated freight liner/net which reduces exposure to direct sunlight, noise and vibration.

Sharp Airlines provides a same day freight service from Melbourne (Essendon), Geelong (Avalon), Hamilton and Portland in Victoria, and between Adelaide and Port Augusta, and Adelaide and Mildura.
